Custom Facilities

In addition to our permanent facilities in the United States, Europe and Asia, we have set up custom facilities within various private and public institutions around the world. We have extensive experience installing custom facilities, and each one is tailored to the customer’s specific needs.

The Bookkeeper process works on both manuscript records and bound material. Our systems can be customized for any print material, and are easy to install and operate.

We work closely with our joint-venture partners to develop strong deacidification programs, allowing us to preserve some of the most important print collections in the world. Some of these institutions include:

• The Jagiellonian University of Poland
  Krakow, Poland

• The National Library of South Africa
  Pretoria, South Africa

We ensure the operational success of all our facilities, which is why we give the same amount of attention to our custom facilities as we do to our permanent operations. Preservation Technologies provides each facility with chemicals, supplies, and continuing technical support and maintenance. Our international service representatives supply operational support and expertise for all of the custom facilities we establish.
