Preservation Technologies, L.P. and Etherington Conservation Services are collaborating to provide an array of high quality preservation and conservation services to archives and research libraries in North America.

A division of The HF Group, Etherington Conservation Services has been providing professional conservation treatment of books, documents, and photographs since 1987. Don Etherington, President of the Etherington Conservation Services, has been conserving materials ranging from general collections to the rarest of manuscripts for more than 45 years for libraries, such as the Library of Congress and the Biblioteca Nazionale in Florence, Italy. Etherington Conservation Services treats and rebinds numerous styles and materials, including cloth, paper, leather, and parchment. With facilities in three states, Etherington Conservation Services has a national and international reputation for highly complex treatment capabilities, specializing in both rare books and valuable manuscripts.

Now, because of this collaborative effort, Etherington Conservation Services can offer the Bookkeeper^® Mass Deacidification Process, the spray products or spray system to its clients as the need arises.

Likewise, if Preservation Technologies‘ clients have a need for conservation services, we can tap Etherington Conservation Services’ ability to assess the proper treatment method for individual items.
