You have valuable audio recordings trapped on obsolete formats. You want to access your recordings and preserve them for the future. Our digitization process was designed to do just that.

The MediaPreserve audio studios are configured to ensure the highest quality transfers for your analog audio materials. We have full suites of legacy equipment capable of digitizing the rarest to the most common formats, including cassette tapes, magnetic reels, grooved discs and more. Our engineers work with music collections, oral histories, experimental sound and broadcast materials on a daily basis. We utilize only the finest playback equipment, software and hardware, and our experienced engineers can handle collections of any size or condition.

Each studio has been professionally designed to offer the best possible setting for your collections. We maintain an engineer-monitored multiple ingest system twelve or more audio assets simultaneously, to accommodate large collections of common formats, such as cassettes and reel to reel tapes. We also offer single-ingest studios for the careful transfer of difficult or unusual formats.

Interested in starting an audio digitization project? One of our Preservation Program Specialists will design a plan that is customized to suit your needs. Please refer to the Contact Us page for information on how to begin the process.
